Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. Perfect for hot sleepers and get softer with each washing. I still use a set that is 12 years old and always wash on cool temp.

Beautiful color and just what I was looking for there. The sheets are very thick and soft however, the size is not as advertized. The description notes that the pocket will fit up to a 20" think mattress which is why I sucked it up and purchased sheets at this price point. My mattress is 16" thick and the pocket does not fully cover the sides of the mattress and it is coming loose on one corner. If I hadn't already washed these, I'd be returning them. But since I washed them before putting on the bed, I'm stuck with a $200+ set of sheets that I am not completely happy with.
