After washing it, I did use Hot water since there was a few pieces of grass In the bag like 2 pieces, I hot dried it twice. After that it was really soft and lightweight, perfect for summers or fall you may need another blanket for winter if you live in a colder area for it to be all season. I would recommend and purchase again.

I love the color and the weight is perfect! Very warm and fluffy comforter. Did not get out of shape after washing either. If you don’t have a front load washer it is best to use the laundromat.
