First, this shower curtain is made of cotton. So, when you open the package you dont receive the overpowering scent of vinyl! It smells like cloth. And it is machine washable. The pictures above were taken after the shower curtain had been machine washed and then hung on curtain rod to dry. Its also a perfect length. It doesnt reach to the bottom of tub, it reaches several inches short of that. Which is perfect so the curtain does not remain in water and therefore prone to mold and mildew. Attractive, well made shower curtain. Recommended!
