I purchased this canister to go with the matching soap pump. It is just the size I wanted to hold large round cotton facial pads. It is a bright shinny silver color in person, which is a great deal lighter than it appears in the picture. I was happy with the color; but, if you are looking for something darker, this may not be the best choice for you.
