Made from real bamboo, these rings are actually made from the root of the bamboo. When bamboo is not used, it will naturally fall over and perish. The roots of these bamboo are then harvested to make these rings. They are heat , formed and then closed together so these rings DO NOT OPEN.... that is why the clips are included. These rings will slide into any pole that is less than 1 " in diameter ( thickness).
