Smart Mount Peerless-AV Single Screen Wall Mount

I purchased this item about a year ago to mount an 80" LCD TV. As of today I've had no issues with its ability to perform as expected and enjoy the capability of being able to adjust the TV ever so slightly. It pulls out about a foot or so giving you the option to easily install streaming sticks into the HDMI slots.

Am quite handy but was perplexed about how to drive the screws into the wall when they were much bigger than the drill size hole the instructions called for. The power drill would not drive the screws in without damaging the screw heads. Found out that even though the supplied screws have a phillips head and they give you the option of either phillips or security screws when you order - you do not drive the screws into the wall with the phillips head. You need to use a rachet wrench and a socket and use the outside part of the head. Suggestion the instructions include this little tidbit.

Installed Samsung 63" plasma. Unit is securely attached with no visible brackets, screws etc... Very clean and low profile installation.

Other mounts advertised to fit a 60" plasma TV turned out to be both short and too narrow.

I have the Hitachi UltraVision CineForm Director's Series 55" Plasma HDTV 55HDX99 Plasma. My original wall mount purchase was the the next size down, but the installation instructions did not list my TV, so I called TV wallmount support and they told me the correct mount for my TV was the 61-102" model. The instructions did not define the what screws & spacers to use for my TV, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I installed two of these wall mounts without any problems. I used the (4)6x25 or 30(?) screws for installing the vertical brackets. What's nice about using this wall mount is you still have room to add or remove cables to the back of the TV after it's on the wall. If I would have went with the smaller mount, 42-65" model, this would not have been the case.

My husband and I went through 3 different mounts for our new Plasma TV - we could not find anything local that would fit our system.
