I've never set up an inflatable water Slide before and it was very easy to do. The ground stakes were all fairly easy and well marked, the blower motor connects easily, everything was simple enough for one person to do alone. Once it was inflated I connected the hose and let it fill up. The kids loved all of the activities! The loved the twister game with the spinning tunes to tell where to go next. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to take this out of the box and get it set up. First of all, you definitely need a flat place to put this, there is no way around it. Thankfully we have a mulch pad in our yard that fit it quite nicely. We put down tarps to prevent anything from snagging underneath, but probably didn’t need it because the material is very durable. Better safe than sorry. My husband had no trouble staking it down and hooking up the blower. Within 2 minutes it was all blown up and ready to bounce. The hose instructions and where it goes we’re a little vague but he was able to figure it out by trial and error pretty quickly. I did notice a lot of loose threads that were floating around In the water but all of the seams were sewn correctly. The ducks that came with it are easily smushed but still enjoyable. My only wish is that the Velcro pads on the play area were larger. With my 9month old wanting to crawl out of the small pool area we had to put the alligator sprinkler in the water so it didn’t go right in the middle of where she was crawling and startle her. The sprinkler on the side of the slide should be angled a different way to keep the slide wet. Lastly, the giraffe sprinkler didn’t do a whole lot unless the water was on full force, making the rest of the sprinklers very aggressive. Not necessarily a bad thing, its perfect for older children, not the best for my youngest. It kept everyone entertained, including the adults. I like the idea of this water little park for my son but I will tell you, he didn’t like the slide. The slide has to stay completely wet for him to slide down. He enjoyed it like a big water mat without the slide. I had to make sure I kept it wet all around because after being on the sun for a moment he would touch it say hot and walk away from it. I wish there was some way to make like a sun protected material for these things. I also kept this on top of a tarp on my driveway because the grass area made everything uneven.
