Golden Teak

The acacia solid hardwood shiplap boards are durable with a density comparable to teak and are built with short butcher block slats for a rustic look. The acacia solid hardwood shiplap boards are sourced in Vietnam with a forestry stewardship council for designation. Fsc means that it’s certified as a product from a renewable resource. Acacia has very good woodworking properties and is cut easily with standard woodworking tools. It is suitable for indoor use. However, acacia has inherent natural wood oils which make it naturally water-resistant. Acacia is the most-used hardwood for wet environments including kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor furniture, and deck tiles. The acacia shiplap boards are finished with inter build’s hardware natural wood oil finish that is 100% free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and does not have any peanut products used in the plant-based formula.

I loved the product! The only con is that is not easy to install. I had to use a hammer to help me to connect the pieces. I aligned the pieces and put a cloth on top of that before I hit that with the hammer in the connection point. The pros is that the material has good quality and an affordable price.. I wasn't sure if I could cut these tiles to size because i was using it for my sunroom. Luckly it worked out and didn’t have to cut alot off that made the tile still usable. Color is as shown. Really changes the look of the space easy to install.. Sandra. Winnipeg, MB. Sat Jul 08 2023
