Designed in-house, the Allefra rug is a very traditional style Berber rug, crafted using a beautiful blend of natural cotton and New Zealand wool for an impossibly luxurious, dense pile of super soft fibres that are a dream underfoot. Completing the design, the rug has been finished with beautiful hand knotted tassels and wool washed for a softer, relaxed finish that will instantly look at home in it’s setting. Exploding in popularity in the mid-century design movement, Berber rugs have cemented themselves as a design icon and staple of refined luxury. To this day, they are crafted using the same time-intensive hand knot technique used by the Beni Ouarin tribe of Morocco for more than 1,000 years.
