The metal rack is sturdy although paint is applied a bit uneven. The tray is plastic and has a bit of a twist in it that does however lay flat flat when the rack is placed on it. Not perfect but does do the job. We like it because the dish rack design goes the way we are used to.. Annette. NS. Sat Aug 26 2023
