This adjustable bed base is solid and sturdy and was easily assembled. It gave our guest room an extra special touch for out of town family and friends to enjoy while they are visiting. Very smooth operation that gently raises and lowers. Very nice to sit up in bed and read or enjoy a cup of tea. Really glad we opted to get an adjustable base rather than a traditional bed frame..
