The cat approves… I got this chair for its height for my son who has aTBI and mobility issues. The chair helps him to get up on his own.

The item is damaged. Obviously a returned item as prior owner had issue with assembly. I paid a local handyman $100 to put together yet now I must return. Please send me a return label.

My husband has a difficult time getting up from a chair due to a stroke. I ordered this hip chair to see if it helped him to get up more easily and increase his independence. It surely worked! The color is very pretty and much more comfortable than the plasticmetal chair that he had.

I ordered two hip chairs (specifically from Wayfair as was suggested by hospital's physical therapist) to comfort my 80-year-old aunt who recently had hip surgery. It was difficult for her to rise from a low-seated chair. The regular size chair for her was delivered fine. The over-sized hip chair for her 85-year-old husband arrived damaged -pertruding to outside of the box which had been slashed or ripped and covered with tape. I don't believe WayFair sent the product out damaged but the delivery service (FE) most likely did not handle carefully. Assembly service was also paid for. The item arrived 4 days before expected and assembly date was not specified within the order. Allie, the most kind, professional, compassionate Customer Service rep, very strategically and caringly offered suggestions and solutions while exhibiting genuine compassion. She represented WayFair so very well. I was very grateful, relieved, and less stressed when the call ended. Kudos to Allie for exceeding my expectations and to WayFair for hiring such a wonderful boots-on-the-ground business representative. Allie was the true accommodating face of WayFair....may God continue to bless her "fruits of the spirit" manner.
