Lékué Springform Cake Mould with Ceramic Plate ø 9.1in (23 cm)

I have a very special and very old recipe for a holiday cake that I used to make only once a year (Orange Rum Cake) that required a certain type of Springform Pan but it was lost in a move, fortunately, this one should be exactly the type I need. I’m sure I’ll be using it quite often for other special cakes throughout the year as well. Thank you so very much for this wonderful Springform Cake Mold! This mold is so nice!! I love that the springform mold is soft plastic while the plate is ceramic. This is going to be great for cheesecakes and any other cake. The instruction pamphlet even comes with recipes that I can’t wait to try.

I got a 6” and a 9” mold and I actually tested the 9” one. The pros are - they’re very easy to use, clean, and store. The silicone performed as expected - nothing got stuck to it and it allowed the cake to bake just fine. The problem was with the ceramic plate… I think it will require recipe baking time updates - using the recommended time per my recipe would have resulted in an underbaked sponge.

I havent used this yet, but I am so excited to have it! Springform pans arent cheap, so to find this one IN SILICONE, was a unicorn! The ceramic plate on the bottom is so smart. I am excited to up my cheesecake game with this pan!
