A longstanding heritage, made new for your tabletop or bar collection, 10 Strawberry Street Mexican Glassware is the stunning result of artistry meeting function. Since the 1500s, when glassblowing was first introduced to North America, artisans in Puebla have preserved this traditional technique—blowing into a metal conduit to shape and spin glass heated to a molten state in a classic hearth. Passed down through generations, this craft continues today with an eco-friendly twist. Each piece is made from recycled cola bottles—each colour uniquely forged by a different artisan—and is completely lead-free, ensuring they are as sustainable and safe as they are timeless and beautiful. However, this cultural art is increasingly at risk, as fewer in the upcoming generations are training in the skill, making each handcrafted piece a true treasure of tradition.

I like them, but unfortunately the set arrived with three of them broken, although they were bubble-wrapped. I had taken two of them out for inspection upon arrival, but not all of them which I then only noticed two months later when I went to use them, and therefore too late to return to Wayfair. I'm disappointed as even losing two (leaving me with 8) would have been fine, but 7 aren't enough for my purposes, and I don't want to buy another set just to increase the number, as I don't have the storage space.. I love the weighted base on these glasses love the glasses perfect size for a small dessert. Pauline. Anderson, CA. Mon Nov 13 2023

I like these glasses! I read several bad reviews about the designs peeling/flaking off, but they seemed secure when I washed them upon arrival. Maybe they washed theirs in the dishwasher. They were packaged securely, but there was a 1” piece of broken glass in the bottom of the glasses box. It didn’t come from my glasses, though.. Julie. Murrells Inlet, SC. Sun Sep 17 2023
