Smaller and kinda more flimsy than I thought

JUNK! I threw it away as soon as I opened it. I paid a dollar ninety-nine for this. DO NOT pay more if you're considering this item. While the idea is excellent, this falls over with the SLIGHTEST bit of air flow. The only way this would have worked would have been to somehow fasten it to the table top. The tiny little base is entirely too small to carry the chalkboard top (it cannot balance/stand properly, therefore toppling very easily). It's made of very cheap craft Balsa wood. Although that's not really a problem, it does make it somewhat delicate. If you can SECURELY FASTEN it to your surface, then go for it; they'll work fine. If not able to, then pass on these - they'll end up in your food or laying on your table/buffet/etc.
