I love this rod. Sturdy, easy on the eyes, and looks good - just as pictured. I have two minor issues with this rod, both involved in assembly: 1) It is difficult to secure the top screw of a bracket tightly. The bracket blocks the top screw as it hangs in front where the rod rests. 2) The instructions say to drill your holes prior to screwing the bracket in place. However, there's a good chance the holes are drilled too far apart for the bracket as the screw's diameter is significant. Save yourself the headache - drill the top hole, loosely screw in the top screw, put the bracket on the top screw, drill the bottom hole through the opening in the bracket - complete the assembly.

I expected the finials to be smaller and more neutral. I ended up using the rod without them. The quality is good. The finials just aren't my taste.
