This clock does not have 'countdown' functional. I called the manufacturer 'BigTimeClocks' and they advised this model does NOT have that function. It also is NOT battery powered.

Mounted high on wall so remote is a real nice feature. Seems well made and very visible from 80', hope it is accurate as well. Time will tell about accuracy.The instructions were a bit difficult as some functions did not seem to work as they instructed but if you are used to working with electronics you should be able to figure it out. Did not need any of the alarm features it comes with. Received it quickly, it was well packed and price was reasonable. Very pleased with purchase.

Too complicated. I just wanted a large display alarm clock.

For what I paid, pretty flimsy produce. Would not buy again.

Great size. My 95 year old Mom will sure be able to see this one.
