I have Coolaroo we put out to shade plants and windows 15 years ago that is still like brand new. When you buy this real stuff, it lasts a lifetime. My cats climb up it, it is impossible to shred. The sun hasn't affected it. The fake stuff that doesn't say Coolaroo only lasts 2 years and shreds into little pieces of plastic. Accept no imitations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to do a little planting/gardening this year to see what I can grow and how much. I got some lettuce seeds, broccoli seeds, squash seeds, tomato seeds, etc. After I planted them, I wanted to provide some shade because my home and land is literally in the sun with no trees around. I got this cover so that I could choose the exact length I would need for my garden and I wanted something that would be durable and tough so that it will still be in one piece once I'm ready to take it down or atleast have harvested my veggies. This shade is exactly what I needed. I was able to measure out the exact length I needed and cut it to the dimensions for my little garden. The material feels very sturdy and is really well made. When I was cutting, there was no fraying or anything which is a bonus for me. I did a little d.i.y by using some small flexible piping tubes to secure the cover to and I'm very happy with the finished product!! So far the beautiful green color is still holding up, the plants are provided with some shading and are cooler, and I do believe I'll be able to reuse this again next year!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for plants that need shade. Still let's enough light through so the plant can grow well and allows plenty of ventilation and rainwater. I'd recommend it if you're in an area with harsh sunlight. Glad I tried it!
