Hi, this CD player does not play CDs. It did not recognize a single CD I put in it. Not newly purchased CDs, not CDs that came out this year, not my old CDs. I bought this to play CDs, and it doesn't work. Unfortunately, since I didn't unbox it right away I'm stuck with it - but buyer beware. This CD player does NOT play CDs. Edit - while Wayfair will not accept any communication about this situation, I do have to say that the manufacturer has been stellar so far. Buy directly from Crosley if you want this product.
