" Garden Of Les Mathurins At Pontoise, 1876 " by Camille Pissarro

The eye is drawn into the lush, leafy landscape by a masterfully placed path blooming in colourful brushstrokes that leave us standing with Pissarro's lone figure, at the work's very heart. Born on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas, the artist went on to study and live in Paris where his always unconventional contributions helped to found Impressionism, Pointillism and other innovative techniques. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of colour, and even its bold brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. The Design Toscano replica European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image.
