Slightly darker than the picture but looks nice. Not as sturdy as I would have thought for the price.

I love it! It's just what I'm looking for. I've been searching for a double sided chalk board that can be used as a drinks menu and/or score board for lawn games. At first I was skeptical because the black board isn't the traditional black chalk board that I remember from school, but chalk glides across it without a problem. I would totally buy this again!

Love this - my husband is a Marine, and we keep this on our porch - and each time he comes home, we have something meaningful written on the board - makes him smile
