Exactly what we were looking for. It is a beautiful clock.

This clock meets all my expectations and earns 5 stars. It's not too small and not too big. It's perfect for the top of my Governor Winthrop desk and I can see the dial and hands readily from 10 to 12 feet away. I was looking for a wooden, carriage clock as my first choice, but that did not fit my budget constraints. This has styling that is more traditional than modern so it suits my tastes as well as my desire for Roman numerals and easy readability. It's easy to insert the one battery required from the back of the clock. So far it is running on time and I am very pleased with my purchase every time I look up for the time of day. I think this styling is gender neutral and would be suitable as a wedding gift, a service award, or individually for a man or a woman.
