Ensemble de lanternes en bois/métal/verre 2 pièces (Ensemble de 2)

I was super excited getting these lanterns based on the photos. The fact that it arrived broken is not the issue as Wayfair would take care of that.....the quality is so poor and frail with uneven thickness of wood pieces....the wood is a dark, grayish brown color and nothing like the picture....also on the picture it looks like the wood panels are nicely finished and polished....that's not the case on the ones I received....splinters all over, super raw wood on some of the outside panels that is smoother on the back side of the same panel....the hinge is useless on one and ok on the other and the top that appeared to be metal on the picture is plastic....what it tells me that there is no quality control where they manufacture the items and the picture they provided is a misrepresentation....they are also showing the pieces hanging, but in no way these could even hold up especially the larger one....this was my first purchase of a Melrose International product and it will be the last.

Very cute and different from other lanterns, only 4 stars because the quality isn't quite as good as I had hoped
