It arrived packed very well to prevent damage in transit. The size I ordered is large so glass wasn't an option (wish it was) but the plexiglass came with a covering on each side to keep it safe. The frame itself is very lightweight. You have to install the mounting hardware (easy) but I wish it came with enough to let the frame hang either way instead of only have 1 option. Works for my needs but not super confident it will last as long as I want.

The stretched canvas that is 0.25" thick will fit in the frame.
The referenced frame has a 0.5"" rabbet depth.
Please note that for size variants 12'x18' and larger, acrylic photo protector material is used. Glass photo protector material is used for all smaller sizes
