Jo Maye works with acrylic as an abstract painter. She pulls her inspiration from the coastlines of Ireland, where she was born and raised. Here the weather is constantly changing. The light moves across the sky, land, and sea creating patterns as it goes. I like to walk and absorb these changes, then take these sensations back to the studio and paint from memory.
