I was looking for a black double curtain rod for a while before I finally settled on this, and I love it! I wanted something fairly basic without a weird fancy finial and these fit the bill. I got the 48"-84"W size for my standard sliding door, and it fits perfectly. One person could install this themselves, but I feel like it's always better to have two people for jobs like this just to make sure everything is even. I also recommend putting in the middle bracket for added support, the curtains I have aren't super heavy, but it felt like it was a good idea just in case. Overall very pleased with this curtain rod.
