1.5'' Single Curtain Rod

I kept the item but would not recommend it. I got a 10 ft, it comes with no rings but with finials and brackets. While I was aware of it shipped in 2 pieces, it is still a major drawback for someone who specifically in the market for a SINGLE rod. The connection point is EXTREMELY flimsy. The splice provided does not keep the rods connected and they fall apart while you are up on the ladder installing it. You need a second ladder and a second person for longer rods like this. Next, the brackets have some flex to them, so heavy draperies pull them down sllightly -- just enough to show everyone you do not have a single rod! The road clearly flexes at the connection point. Finally, the coating on the road is not durable and scratches easily. I cannot imagine using metal rings on this (mine are nylon-lined). The finials are nice and substantial --the only positive.

I wouldn't even pay $30 for this rod. IT DOESN'T COME IN ONE PIECE WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY WHAT YOU'RE PAYING A PREMIUM PRICE FOR. It's two pieces that join (and not very well) and fell twice when we tried to move the curtains on it which damaged our walls that now have to be repainted. It's very dangerous if you have kids. It was also scratched when it arrived (photos below) I'm trying to figure out how to get a refund but it's difficult to find the seller's details and impossible to send back as we had to go and buy glue to secure it. Would definitely NOT recommend.

It has been stable and looks good

Per other reviews, the metal is a little sharp where they cut it. We got a large 150 inch pole, in two pieces, that needed to be connected. Process was easy and you just need to be careful. They look nice and I like that it is not a telescoping rod that always catches the grommet.

Not 180” as specified. 180” is just the rod and itll be addition 9 inches with the 2 ends attached. It should be listed as 189”.
