Sturdy. We have the longest rod available and it spans a whole wall of windows in our living room. Easy to install.

Good quality, fair price for rod size

It comes as to separate rods and is not suited to its purpose. The connector isn't an internal screw piece like a lot of other rods, its an external "U" clamp that kind of holds the two pieces together. That probably isn't so bad, except that the clamp piece is a 6"+ long silver clamp. So you have this ok looking black hallow metal tube with a giant silver "U" clamp in the middle. Further, the edges of the rod are still rough so they snag at the curtains when trying to mount it and it seems even the slightest irritation scratches the paint. While the finials look great, they don't make up for the poor quality of the rods themselves. Especially not at this price. Better quality rods can be found at BB&B for 1/3 the price.
