This piece is so adorable! i was going to hang above my love seat but now have decided it will look amazing on the mantel of the fire place. very excited to decorate it throughout various holidays and themes.

I absolutely love this window frame wall decor. Its much lighter than I was expecting, which made the hanging process simpler than I had anticipated. I could see this decor fitting in with many different styles also.

So yes I changed the direction of this piece because I loved the design better this way. The distressed finish is done really well without the wood looking damaged which can happen on the smaller wooden pieces. The white is looks and feels like chalk paint with a matte finish. Light weight, hung it on a single picture hanging nail, but added another just to keep it straight since there were no hooks to hang in this direction.
