Knitted Blanket

Really beautiful blanket. Great quality and very heavy. Warm and toasty for the cold new england winter nights. There was a shipping issue but it was taken care of quickly. Otherwise arrived very quickly

I pretty much ordered the Brescia Fleece Blanket out of necessity since I wanted a fairly heavy blanket to use on my bed during the colder months this Winter. Well this blanket is certainly heavy (frankly I am pretty sure anyone who has trouble lifting anything over 50 lbs would have trouble lifting this blanket). I slept with it on my bed and had to throw it aside numerous times as it is very heavy and very warm. Some people like being covered with a heavy blanket. I am just not one of them. Also the print is really garish and is similar to a strange Russian wall tapestry (that's not a compliment). To make matters worse, the flip side has all of these odd "engraved" patterns that don't have anything to do with the blankets overall motif (I'm talking weird diamond and star shapes and completely unrelated rose and leaf images). It's not a decorative blanket and it is just barely functional. The best thing I can say about it is that is feels like a high quality Velux blanket. Very, very soft. don't usually write negative reviews, but I have to keep it real.

Absolutely beautiful! Comes in a great storage bag that is an item all by itself. Our bed is a California king and this blanket fits it perfectly. The edging is nice and the blanket is super soft, heavy and the pattern is unique and interesting. Shipped fast.
