I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! More of a beige than a cream in my opinion, but it works well in my room. I have not washed them yet to see what happens, steamed them once I hung them up and all the wrinkles fell out.
