Inside mount measurement: select a width size that is 0.5" (half inch) shorter than the width of your window recess.
Outside mount measurement: select a width size that is 6" (six inches) wider than the width of your window opening for full coverage and minimize light filtration through the sides.
Depth: requires a minimum of 1.75" depth for inside mounting or 2 inch flat surface for outside mounting.
