Edges of lid and sides of box have an ivory tone finish. The hinged lid is also a photo frame; it comes with a lovely art print, under glass, with sentiment. Print can easily be changed out for a favourite photo cut to 2 3/8" x 4 5/8"; window size at top is 4" x 2". Inside box is a smaller compartment with clear glass top that shows the high quality Sankyo musical movement. When key under box is wound, music will play when lid is open and stop when it is closed.
