Group together three of your favorite memories in this handsome hinged wood frame.
I’d give this 5 stars but I took off points for all thenon-recyclableplastic bags, and 1 broken section of crystals. First, lovely lamp. No switch. Has a press onoff floor switch. You can place it on a table (use double-sided foam tape), or leave on the floor. DO NOT put this in a place where small kiddoes might pull the strands and swallow the crystals!
Notes if you are going to purchase this
The base is under the foam packing so don’t toss the box.
Each crystal strand is individually wrapped in plastic. Unless you can’t stand for 30 minutes undoing all the plastic, I do not recommend removing the plastic coverings until youhave put the lamp together.
The plastic casings are attached at the top with a staple. Carefully open the staple, then gently pull the plastic to remove it. I did the outer layer first, then the inner layer. Do NOT be impatient and just pull on the plastic coverings! You will stretch and open the fine loop holding the crystal strands to the circular holder. Seriously, here patience is a virtue. I had a pair of scissors on hand when some of the casings got more challenging.
You should screw in the bulbs before attaching the crystal section. There is, on the top thin metal pole section, a small nut. That end goes on the finial end. Unscrew the nut, put the crystal section on the pole, reattach the nut, THEN attach the finial. The instructions do not explain this.
Instructions are minimal, but it took barely 10 minutes to assemble the lamp part and 30 minutes to carefully remove all the plastic casings from the crystal strands.. Toni. New York. Sat Mar 04 2023
