Initial Setup Instructions:
Always on display:While outside of setup mode, press the 'Down' button until "--:Sd" is displayed.
Enter setup mode: Hold the 'Set' button to enter setup mode. Use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to adjust the settings as needed. Press the 'Set' button to move to the next setting. This includes options such as 12/24-hour clock format and Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature display.
Powering the clock: Plug in the clock using the included USB power cord. The batteries are for memory backup in case of a power outage; the clock should not run on battery power alone.
Weekend alarms: Press 'Up' while outside of setup mode to toggle between:
"On:Ed" for alarms to go off on weekends.
"--:Ed" to disable alarms on weekends.
Adjust brightness: Hold the 'Up' button for 3 seconds while outside of setup mode to adjust to the desired brightness level.
Change display mode: Press the 'Set' button (do not hold) while outside of setup mode to cycle through display options:
dp-2: Time only.
dp-1: Cycle through time, date, and room temperature.
This is a very nice, modern alarm clock. Got it for my son’s bedroom as the clock he had did not light up. This helps him know the time if he does wake up during the night.
