Cute and sturdy. Note that they have changed the design to an acrylic base (as mentioned in the item name). I was expecting the “wood” looking base from the photo, but that’s on me for not reading thoroughly. I needed something vertical, but low profile, for a coffee table and this works great.. Hillary. This turtle is pretty close to looking exactly like its really carved out of wood. Its exactly as described. The only thing I would change is for the color to be a little different on some parts of the turtle's body. There's a small area where it's a little white so I'm not sure if it's the underneath showing through a little or if its intentional but it's not a huge deal. I still really like it & would definitely buy it again. The size is perfect & the shell is really cool looking. I love that the shell is imperfect because it's more realistic.. Christie. NJ.
