These are very unusual hooks. I like the farmhouse, rustic appeal of them. I used the liquid nails to adhere them to the unit. I want to use them on. It took quite a while for it to set. One of the vials was unusable as it had hardened. Another vile, I had to use a nail to get open because it did not open when I snapped off the cap. I did manage to finally get one vial usable. Since I was attaching them to a metal fixture, I needed to use the liquid nails. I wasn’t quite sure how to use the strips that came with the hooks. I use them to stabilize them while the liquid nails were drying. I used two attached to metal as shown. I’m going to actually use the other two in a different room of my house using the screws to attach. We’ll see how strong they are and how much weight they hold.

This set of coat hooks arrived in a box with glue and mounting hardware. The hooks protrude 1.5" at top, so they are ideal for small area or behind a door. There are no instructions written in English. Instructions are not needed to install - except to explain the reason or use of the glue that's included. Each hook requires 2 screws to hang. Setting the screws must be exact or the hook moves and slides on the bottom. There are 2 screws that are visible on the front of the hook that secure the black plate to the wood piece. I planned to use these hooks in a bathroom but did not like the overall look, form and function of them. I repurposed them in a garage space with old wood panels because of the mounting hardware and look.
