This is basically a replacement for the cap that comes with the Aeropress but it doesn’t allow coffee to drip through. Honestly I think it should come standard on all presses but it’s not my company. This thing is great for long steeps. I use it on my travel press that I bring with me on work trips (because I can’t drink hotel room coffee). This plus a reusable filter really completes the Aeropress experience for me. A
