Great for everyday cooking. Feels solid and heavy. Gorgeous exterior brushed finish.

There is a learning curve to using it, but once that is behind you. I'm very Happy with the D3 All clad cookware

The even heating and the ease of handling is a giant plus.

I love this pot. We have an electric range and I know that All-Clad has a history of being thick, industrial and d*mn near warp-resistant. Water boils faster because of the even heat transfer around the base. Easy to clean even though it is not non-stick material. HIGHLY recommend. Just ordered an 11" sauté pan. Can't wait to start using it! If you cook a lot, or not, these pans will be the best tools in your belt. Why use cr*ppy cookwear?

Disappointed to find out the hard way that this line is not dishwasher safe. Thought I had confirmed with booklet provided and ran thru the dishwasher when first received. Boy was I sorry. Exterior now looks awful with big discolored spot and streaks. Contacted customer service and was told that this line was "not" dishwasher safe. So no assistance there. Yes, pot still works but it is not pretty. Very sad that this one will eventually be disposed of once I have enough money to replace it. I am proud to have my other All Clad pieces and I cringe every time I use this one. Do not purchase unless you will be hand washing.

This has the potential to be a great pan. It's reasonably priced and heats up faster and more evenly than All-Clads much more expensive D5 and TK lines. If it weren't for the awkwardly uncomfortable handle and sharp edged rim this would be the perfect sauce pan. Oil and sugar gets well over 300 degrees. Is it really that hard to roll the edges to prevent dangerous and messy drips? The French can make reasonably priced functional pans. So can the Chinese. Why can't All-Clad?

I'm 77, the handle is very awkward. One needs hands of steel for the handle not to cut into sensitive old hands, and the indented handle is difficult for the thumb to balance it. If you could redesign the handle to be flat with rounded bottom that would be perfect. I worry each time I use it that I will somehow ruin it, either cooking wrong temperature or washing incorrectly. There should not be so many "warnings", makes me sorry I purchased it, Very happy it is made in the USA. Would love a glass lid, and if it you had one that was shorter and fatter, less bending over to look into the pot.
