We purchased this pan a year ago in March. We are very careful with it and only use non scratch utensils. It's a great size. Nice and big. The pan is chipping in the center. I swear nothing lasts anymore. Better to go without the non stick, like stainless steel or cast iron, which i do have. My husband wanted this pan for his eggs in the morning. Not sure I would recommend. It was expensive. Additional review I wanted to add. The handle gets loose over time. There is a screw underneath the pan itself where the handle attaches. If you don't keep it tight the handle could fall off. And it's a heavy pan so don't want that! Just be aware.

I bought 2, 12 1/2" frying pans. 1 of the 2 had a broken seal on the box, I believe that if it was bought and returned, a Wayfair employee did not notice the damage to the pan on the top, right where the finish starts, and small scratches and pits in the pan interior. I know BergHOFF and their standards, I really believe the pan was not finished at the factory correctly, the damage to the pan, (it was pitted, not smooth), it was painted over with the black coating it was supposed to have. I contacted Wayfair with photos of the damage, I just wanted a replacement, to my surprise Wayfair just told me throw the pan out, they promptly sent me a new one that is 100% perfect as well as the other 3 pans I bought. No hassles, I was surprised. I have used BergHOFF exclusively for 12 years. The only difference is I previously bought the BergHOFF Eurocast, from a another retailer. I even contacted BergHOFF by email, asked them if the ferno-green (ceramic), was the same. BergHOFF Eurocast has a shiny finish on top of the inner pan coating. Berghoff assured me it was in fact the same. Time will tell, 4 of my frying pans are the only ones that wore out after 10 years. Been putting off buying new ones until I found them on Wayfair. After 12 years of use, my 12 1/2 inch WOK and 1 other 12 1/2 inch frying pan plus 2 others, still look brand new. One point I will make is I have Parrots, last 30 years, this is one of the only type pan if accidentally overheated will not kill them. Teflon type pans when new or overheated , the fumes will kill any Parrot/bird you have living in your home. Pretreat the pans with vegetable oil as instructed, and periodically do it over the months and many years you have them, they are well worth the money spent.

I love these pans. They are very high quality and such a joy to cook with!
