Disappointed. With first use, water would not drain into the pot after passing through the coffee in the basket. Water backed up into the coffee in the basket. I Checked that the filter holder was snapped into place - it was, so that was not the problem. Also, filling the water reservoir is awkward because of the design. The red color is great but otherwise this item is a disappointment. I returned it.
