The Cuisinart Countertop Double burner works well. The larger burner allows you to cook just about anything, however the smaller burner doesn’t cook as fast and doesn’t warm up enough to boil eggs in a reasonable time.

I really like this 2-burner hot plate from Cuisinart. Each plate is a different wattage, the higher temp one definitely gets water or whatever to the boiling point. It works great, and looks nice.
