Lovely! The quality is excellent in comparison to my previous pasta pot. The basket is very strong metal instead of the wire mesh of my old pasta pot! Well worth the price!

I use this pan on an induction cooktop for pasta. It works very well.

The Asparagus/Pasta cooker set is just what I have been looking for with it's upright size and included strainer. I can cook Asparagus without cutting or grilling and very shiny and quite hefty. Very pleased, would recommend.

This Resto asparagus/pasta cooker is made by Demeyere, a Belgium company that makes only high quality items. Resto is their lower priced line and far superior to any other cookers I have found. It is heavy duty without being overly weighty, works well on all kinds of cooktop surfaces, gas and induction included. Demeyere was a front runner in induction cookware and has been bought by Zwilling Jos. A. Henckels in recent years. The insert is great because your asparagus can't fall through the mesh and it has a hook that allows you to rest it on the pot to drain. I've had this for 7 years and use it for corn, tamales, pasta, artichokes and asparagus. I just bought one for each of my sons and daughter-in-laws--one has gas; the other an induction cooktop. I know they will enjoy the ease and size of this cooker. Pros: Great value, high quality, suitable for all cooking surfaces. Cons: None!
