Exotique Platinum 20 Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4

We bought this Exotique Platinum set for special occasion settings when we moved into this house 25 years ago. Soon, we decided thot every day above ground is a special occasion, so these became our everyday set. And I tell you, they have held up wonderfully through countless trips through the dishwasher. So why the two stars? This set arrived from Wayfair without a box, nada except the flatware pieces wrapped in plastic and banded together. It looks like this may be used pieces or pieces assembled from a broken box. One even wonders if these may be counterfeit pieces. It's not the flatware we have a problem with: it's the delivery. Are these new? Are they genuine? Why no box? The instruction sheet that was inside the common brown cardboard box recommended that we register the flatware by scanning the QR code on the bottom of the box, but there **IS** no box. I wish that Wayfair's description had specified that these are separate pieces, perhaps used, of questionable origin, and not boxed as new. I'm glad that we weren't planning to give these as a gift. But note: we could not be more pleased with the Exotique Platinum flatware we've been using for a quarter of a century. This set does have different markings than our original set. We can only hope that this set holds up as well. Before you order this flatware set, ensure that you're getting the new, genuine pieces you're paying for.

I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase! It is the solid weight of each piece of flatware that I get the most compliments. Plus the set is simple…but also works with a slightly more elegant setting.

This flatware is amazing. Not only is the very custom unique design beautiful but the function it great too! Each piece feel nice and sturdy when you hold it your hand. I had this set 15 years ago and finally found it again and purchased it right away. My old set still functions great and has no spotting or rust what so ever from the dishwasher. If you love unique sturdy designs in your flatware get this set. You won’t be disappointed.
