As promised they were delivered and boy after a good wash they sure do look pretty. Glad I bought them.

Thick and heavier than most glasses - very clear - I can't see any "seam" in side that "cheaper" glassware can show - does not seem like "bar ware in a bar" - more upscale home - and "special" drinks (after looking at them - seems they could span from beer to some cocktails to ice cream drinks to coffee beverages (layered) with room for whipped cream - and the handle makes it easy to hold (important with heavier glass of different temperatures and with small lady-like female size hands) - for everyone. Not I would guess for children - more "bowls" for them.
