Noritake ColorTrio Stax 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

We bought our original Noritake stoneware dinner set in the 1980s. While still in good condition, we wanted dinnerware that looked more contemporary. The Noritake ColorTrio Stax set is the perfect choice for us. The small rim around the plates is stylish and helps keep sauces confined to the plate. The bowl is the perfect size for cereal, desserts, or meal accompaniments. The mugs are generous in size - perfect for our morning cup of coffee. We chose blue for our set as it compliments our decor. Our table looks beautiful and inviting with our new dinnerware set.

I bought 2 sets of these dishes. They look great. The problem is 3 of the mugs cracked when I put hot water into them. Now I have 5/8 left, and I am hesitate to use them. When they cracked hot water went everywhere and I don't want to get burned.
