I didn’t know the container portion would be plastic. I’m afraid the prongs on the bottom that hold it in place will break off easily!

Better than big name brand versions

I'm happy with the purchase. It is very powerful and pulverized the greens I used in seconds as well as the frozen fruit I added to our smoothies. The blade isn't removable which I like because it doesn't leak yet it makes it to big to go on the top rack of the dishwasher which makes me have to wash it by hand. Still I'm very happy I chose to purchase this brand and model.

I love it! It's perfect for making my juices every morning! I recommend it. The price is cheaper for the work it does.

Best blender ever, better than vitamix blender, love it.

exactly what I wanted. arrived on time no problems

This is a very good blender similar to Vitamix. So far, it has met with my expectations. Smoothies are creamy smooth. It does a great job on purees. I gave it 4 stars, as it barely makes it under the countertop cupboards and a slightly smaller jar would have been sufficient for us. Otherwise, excellent blender for the price! We use it almost daily. Definitely a must have addition for a healthy diet.

Works great. Looks good. I rated 4 stars because its quite loud and feels like the motor is working hard. Bought white.

Love my Salton blender. At first it seemed kind of big but it is so powerful I couldn’t care less. I’ve used it a few times now and no matter what I throw in it doesn’t struggle (I joke that I could mix concrete in this thing). And the self clean feature makes taking care of it a breeze. Don’t bother with Vitamix when you can get this baby for a third the price and equal to the task!
