Love the blue Italian Spode! Made in England and delicate, but not so fragile it will break. Use it almost daily!

I bought these to replace some cups in my Gran’s set which has some cups from 1903! This particular set is made in England, which is pleasing. They are a bit thicker than all the older cups in my set, but the pattern is crisp and the sizes the same and they blend right in with the rest.

Handles on teacups are very small and useless, so tiny its impossible to hold the teacup unless you pinch the handle with forefinger and thumb. Totally impractical.

One of the mugs has a black dot inside of it that cannot be removed.

I’m a big fan of Spode. I just loved the tea cups and saucers. They were exactly what I wanted.  The quality was superb. 

Beautiful item. Great quality. Arrived later than expected. Had to call customer service to confirm they were still mailing out, when I saw it was not mailed out the day it was due to be delivered. Packaged well.
