East what expected, too thing more like a thin table cloth over another table cloth. I wanted a protective heavy vyna that actually lays on the table to protect the table top from wear tear!

The cover is doing the job of protecting my high top wood table. Great for guests that don’t use coasters or for children doing artwork. Note I don’t put hot items directly on the cover. Cover is great for when I serve messy meals like crabs or seafood boils.
