Tramontina Gourmet Tri-Ply Clad 12" Frying Pan with Helper Handle

Works great with an induction cooktop which was our primary criteria. It is replacing a Cuisinart 12" which was in the same price range but which had warped rendering it not compatible with induction. The handle feels great and I love the helper handle. What I don't love is that the cooking surface has already developed whitish discoloration - which can be scrubbed out with a cleaning powder, but that is a lot of work - not something I'm willing to do every time I cook. I'm also not a fan of the sloping/curved side shape - I'd prefer a more flat surface area and steeper sides, but for the the price and for an item made in the western hemisphere, we are happy with it.

I own several Tramotina 18/10 steel pots and pans. Always awesome quality, size and weight. Cannot beat their products for the cost.

After quite a bit of research, I selected this pan. It heats uniformly, cooks nicely and is easy to clean. We're moving away from non-stick and this stainless pan is exactly what I hoped to find!

Really wanted to love this, but stuff sticks. Definitely need to deglaze pan during cooking. And has to be scrubbed well after each use or get used to the stains.
